From fridge charts to digital automation
Like many families, we started with a paper chore chart stuck on the fridge. It worked for about a week, then got ignored. Soon, we were back to chasing our children to do their chores, leading to unnecessary nagging and frustration.
We searched for a solution but only found corporate project management tools or overly simple task trackers. We wanted a tool built specifically for modern households — one that makes tracking tasks clear and manageable, and rewards contributions in a fun, gamified way.
So, we built OurShift. It is designed to be fair, simple, and transparent, giving parents their time back and teaching children the value of contribution through rewards.
